On 3 March 2026, we invited new families to enrol for the 2026/2027 school year at the Polska Szkoła Sobotnia im. Fryderyka Chopina w South Croydon (The Frederic Chopin Polish Saturday School in South Croydon). The invitation read: ‘Perhaps we are waiting just for you? Do join us – come along, have a look, enrol!’
On 10 March 2026 we sent a reminder about the online enrolment form, and on 23 April 2026 we announced that only the last few places at the school remained.
The enrolment poster from April 2026 stated that:
- the school accepts children from age 4,
- it offers older students preparation for GCSE and A-level examinations,
- lessons take place at Purley Oaks Primary School.
As we wrote in our April invitation, at our school a child develops language skills and receives a key that truly opens many doors in life. Regular contact with Polish among their peers helps children growing up in the United Kingdom to use the language of their parents and grandparents with confidence.
Applications for the 2026/2027 school year were accepted via the online enrolment form.
