What time should I drop off and collect my child?
Lessons run from 9:00 to 12:30, and children are collected at 12:30. Children enrolled in extra-curricular activities finish by 13:45 at the latest. You can name a person authorised to collect your child on the enrolment form.
What is a school Saturday like?
Three lessons: 9:10–10:00, 10:10–11:00 and 11:30–12:30, with breaks at 10:00–10:10 and 11:00–11:30. Children eat only during the snack break, in the designated area.
What is the parent duty rota, and when is our duty?
Each family carries out three duties per school year — one in each term — and helps to keep things orderly and safe during the school Saturday. We give the date at least two weeks in advance. In the Duty Rota Calendar you can select your child’s class, and we will then show only your dates.
What if I cannot attend my duty?
You must notify the Headteacher or the administrator no later than 24 hours before the duty and carry out the duty on a new date. A duty can also be replaced with a payment of £20 — in writing, at least two weeks before the date. For a missed duty the school charges £50. Requests are made using the duty change form.
When do we pay the instalments?
In three instalments, before each term; the dates and amounts are on the Fees page. Payments are accepted by bank transfer, with the child’s full name as the payment reference. Fees remain payable until written notice of withdrawal is given.
Where can I find current information for parents?
Notices are on this page and on the home page, and all announcements are in News. Teachers also send information by e-mail; please check it regularly, as it includes, among other things, the dates of duties.
Can my child have a phone at school?
Phones must be switched off during lessons. Devices used in a lesson are taken by the teacher and returned to parents after lessons. The school is not responsible for lost or damaged electronic devices or toys.
