Dear Parents,
Below you will find information about signing up for duties in Term 3 of the 2025/2026 school year and about our Book Day celebrations on 18 April 2026.
Sign-up for duties in Term 3 took place via an online form. A reminder of the rules:
- Parents choose the date of their own duty in the form.
- Only one date should be chosen per term. If anyone signs up for two dates, we will expect them to attend both duties in the same term.
- If the chosen date turns out to be inconvenient, please contact the school administrator by email (administrator@polskaszkolacroydon.co.uk) or in person at school – it will be possible to change the date.

On 18 April 2026 we will be celebrating Book Day at school. To mark the occasion, we have prepared two activities for the children:
- A meeting with Ms Patrycja Kuczewska, author of the book ‘Kostek i Gucio’. Books will be available to buy after the meeting.
- The photo competition ‘Dress Up as a Book’, open to everyone.
Competition rules:
- choose the cover of any book,
- dress up ‘as the book’ – the book itself should play the starring role,
- take a photo,
- send it to your class WhatsApp group.
You will receive some example costume ideas by email. We encourage you to join us in promoting reading.
