Dear Parents,
Yesterday we received information from the Business Manager at Purley Oaks indicating that this school year the Polish Saturday School will no longer be able to return to work in the school building. Although Purley Oaks is reopening for Key Year Groups from 4 June, this is a difficult time for them: something changes every day, and all their energy is taken up with adapting their own needs to the current situation.
In view of the above, we are planning to return to school on 19 September 2020.
Lessons – in a reduced form – will continue as class teachers have arranged with you so far and will end on 4 July. We are using Google Classroom and/or video communication platforms.
We provisionally plan for the children to receive their certificates for the 2019/2020 school year in September. If any of you need a certificate or a report sooner, please contact the Headteacher. I am also available should you have any questions.
