Dear all!
Today is the end of the school year. Term 3 was not easy for anyone, and we all faced enormous challenges. I am so pleased that we managed to meet them and that we acted together in the face of these challenges.
We thank the parents for the effort they put into helping with remote learning and for supporting their children.
We thank the children for the virtual time we spent together. It was a great joy for every teacher to ‘meet’ you during remote lessons, in videos or through the work you sent in.
We thank the teachers for their patience and creativity in using teaching methods different from those used before.
We missed you very much!!! Unless something unforeseen happens, we will definitely see you in September AT SCHOOL! We have received confirmation from Purley Oaks:
“(…) Following the announcement yesterday, we have been working on our plan and risk assessment for the full re-opening of school in September. We have built the Polish School into our plans and we are keen for you to return.
There is obviously a lot of planning to do but I wanted to share the news with you as soon as possible so you could also start planning”.
Let's celebrate!!!
So it is time to start the summer holidays! We wish everyone a safe and restful break. May the holiday give you new energy, joy and inspiration. We encourage you to run, laze about, sleep, read, jump – the choice is yours. We are doing all of that from today!!! Take a look at the video we have prepared for you, which Ms Iwonka Chrzan edited into this beautiful final version for us – thank you!
We also thank the OT.TO cabaret group for permission to use their song.
