Dear Parents,

Last Saturday, as part of the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of Poland regaining independence, our school hosted the concert ‘Z muzyką ku Niepodległej’ (With Music Towards Independence). The aim of the concert was to raise children’s and parents’ awareness of the events connected with regaining and rebuilding Polish statehood. The children had a wonderful time while learning! They were treated to an unusual history lesson: they listened, sang and danced. There was certainly something for everyone.

From this coming Saturday, all the after-school clubs will be running. Mr Adam Kozłowski, who teaches piano and aural training, has one place left in his class at 13:05. Unfortunately, as Purley Oaks school has got rid of its piano, our pupils will probably have to bring a keyboard with them. For more information, please contact Mr Adam: akozlondon@gmail.com.

We are looking for teaching assistants. Would anyone like to start working with us? We warmly encourage you to get in touch! For more information, please contact the Headteacher: psscroydon.kukula@gmail.com

The next session with our psychologist will take place on 6/10/2018. We welcome Ms Agnieszka Romanik, a psychologist from the Polish Psychological Association, to our team.

On 6 October at 12:45, the General Meeting of the School Council will take place. All parents of our school are entitled to attend. At the meeting, reports on the school’s educational, administrative and financial activities in the 2017/2018 school year will be presented. You are warmly invited to the Theatre Hall. We will be serving free coffee 😉 Parents who would like to attend the meeting without their children will be able to leave them in our care. Please collect your children from their classroom and bring them to the class A2 classroom (school ground floor, entrance from the small playground).

I would also like to remind you that the school is not responsible for children left by their parents in the ‘playground’ before 8:50.

This coming Saturday, 29 September, the duty will be covered by the parents of pupils in Zerówka 2 and class F, and on 6 October by the parents of pupils in classes A1 and E1. We kindly ask for your attendance!

With warm regards, Irena Kukuła Headteacher
