Hello!
Happily, we have made it through the whole of the first term. We are so pleased about it! We will see you at school after the Christmas break, on 8 January 2022.
Today I wanted to write that we have the most wonderful parents in the world 😊
For example, on the Parents' Committee, thanks to whom last Saturday we had real Christmas trees, snow and a warm fire ‘in the fireplace’. Every Saturday we have a café; children can buy toasties, and adults bread, hot coffee and something to go with it.
We have wonderful parents who come to do their duties and help keep the school safe.
Mr Sebastian, who – although he has no children at the school – comes to us every Saturday and organises those duties.
We have Assistants who support the teachers' work every week.
Our Librarians, who joyfully welcome pupils who love to read.
Accountants, who look after the school's funds and make sure every penny adds up.
A whole team of people working as volunteers.
Thank you….
We have a wonderful Administration team and wonderful teachers at the school. Well educated, well read, open-minded. Constantly learning; improving their qualifications through training and workshops. With heads full of ideas, organising interesting, active and lively lessons. Teachers who rejoice in their pupils' successes and worry about their sorrows.
Thank you…
It is a great privilege, a joy and an honour to work for you and with you.
To everyone – children, parents and teachers – I wish a Christmas of joy and peace of heart. In friendship with one another and with the world. In kindness ‘from and for’ people. In the hope that is born amid the darkness. In closeness and in health, which once again proves to be the most precious thing in the world.
A beautiful, joyful Christmas to you all.
Irena Kukuła, Headteacher
