Dear Parents,
This Saturday the parents of pupils in classes E1 and C1 are on duty; on 5 February the parents of pupils in classes A2 and B. Please do come!
Over the next two Saturdays, the Parents' Committee will be selling books in Polish and English. They will be sold ‘for pennies’ on the school playground before school starts. Do come and browse!
It is a tradition at our school to celebrate Patron's Day, when our pupils showcase their talents. This year the Talent Festival will take place on 26 February 2022. You have received all the information in a separate e-mail. Please do read it.
Entries are accepted electronically only, via a Google Form, until 31 January 2022.
We are also looking for sponsors of prizes for the children taking part in the Talent Festival. If you can help, or know someone who could, please contact the school.
In response to your questions about SCHOOL ID CARDS, I asked the Embassy of the Republic of Poland for information on the matter. I am pasting the reply I received below:
‘Dear Headteacher,
In reply to your e-mail, I would like to inform you that, like many institutions at this time, our office is currently facing difficulties caused by another wave of the pandemic. As a result, the process of renewing and issuing new school ID cards is not running as smoothly as we would all wish, all the more so as we have received far more applications than in previous years. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee when the ID cards will be delivered to you. Despite these difficulties, we are taking steps to issue the ID cards as quickly and efficiently as possible. I hope that we will issue the ID cards before the February half-term.’
We encourage you to support Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy (the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity) in London. You can find more information on how to do so, and on the campaigns and auctions you can take part in, here:
