Dear Parents
We're up and running! Somewhat shyly, still finding our feet in the new school – but we're up and running, and it was certainly a successful start! Please remember that until 9:00 we enter through the school's main gate (Main gate) onto the school playground, where children are collected by their form teachers or assistants from 8:45. The exception is children from Zerówka 1 (the pre-school year), who have a separate entrance. At 9:00 the main gate will be closed and late children will enter through the Main Entrance. The entrances will be signposted on Saturday for your information.
This Saturday, the following extra-curricular activities will start:

All children taking part in clubs – except the football club – are taken from their classrooms to the activity venue. Parents collect their children at the times set by the teachers running the clubs, entering the school grounds via the Main Entrance (next to the entrance to the School Office).
This Saturday we will be welcoming pupils from Poland, from the Wrocław area, to our school. They are young people from the Zespół Szkół Mechanicznych (a group of mechanical engineering schools), a Liceum Ogólnokształcące (general secondary school) and a Publiczne Gimnazjum (public lower secondary school). The visit is part of a partnership project. The day will begin with a shared English breakfast with the oldest pupils of our school. The young people will be able to talk to each other in both English and Polish. We are very much looking forward to this meeting and hope that it will lead to lasting friendships, both among the young people and among the teachers and staff of our school
Other important events:
A child psychologist from the Stowarzyszenie Polskich Psychologów w Wielkiej Brytanii (Polish Psychologists' Association in the UK), Ms Ewa Szumna, holds sessions at the school. The next session will be on 30 September. Anyone interested in a meeting is asked to contact the Headteacher.
On 7 October at 12:45, the General Meeting of the School Council will take place. All parents of our school have the right (and the duty ) to attend. At the meeting, reports will be presented on the school's educational and pastoral, administrative and financial activities in the 2016/2017 school year.
This Saturday, 23 September, parents of pupils in classes F and E2 are on duty; on 30 September, parents of pupils in classes E1 and D.
Kind regards
Irena Kukuła, Headteacher
