Dear Parents,
Pupil induction ceremony, gallery
Last Saturday the children in classes A were formally inducted as Pupils. We wish them as much success at school as the Polish national team has recently enjoyed in the stadiums!
From this Saturday, i.e. 21 October, the school library opens. It will be open from 9:00 to 13:00. We invite all children to make use of our book collection We also ask pupils who, because of the school's move, did not manage to return their books at the end of the school year, to do so now.
We are looking for parents willing to get involved in the work of the Parents' Committee. Don't be afraid, dear Parents!! Give it a try!! Get involved – your children will certainly be proud of you!!! Leave your contact details with the class teachers, or with Mr Sebastian Błaszczyk in our school Office.

21 October is our last day at school before the half-term break. We begin the second half of the term on 11 November. On 11 November 2017, as last year, our school will take part in the British fundraising appeal for disabled children and children in need of support – Children In Need. The idea is somewhat similar to the Polish Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy (Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity). Our school has registered its participation, and we will receive a so-called fundraising pack containing collection tins, stickers for the children, posters, etc. We ask all children to come to school in PYJAMAS on 11 November Alternatively, they can wear ‘teddy bear ears’, spotty bows, spotty bow ties, etc. – as long as they are spotty
More information and inspiration can be found here: https://www.bbcchildreninneed.co.uk/fundraisinghub Please ask the children to bring a small amount of money for Children In Need. We also encourage adults to join in and wear pyjamas, especially those who will be working at the school that day. Remember – 11 November 2015 – Children in Need!!
Another date I would like to draw your attention to now is 2 December 2017. On this day a meeting with St Nicholas will take place at school. The Parents' Committee, which prepares the children's presents, has decided that this year the St Nicholas' Day contribution will be £4 per child. The contribution will be collected by the ladies working in the school library (staff room). Please pay the contribution by 18 November. The contribution is not compulsory, but if it is not paid by the above date, your child will not receive a present.
On 21 October the parents of pupils in class C1 are on duty at school; on 11 November the parents of pupils in class B1.
Warm regards
Irena Kukuła Headteacher
