Dear Parents,
On 16 November, parents of pupils in classes B3 and D2 are on duty at school, and on 23 November classes C1 and D1. Please make sure you attend!
Last Saturday the children of our school took part in an ‘independence bonfire’. It was a gathering of words, film and music, an unusual history lesson which the children enjoyed very much! By singing the Polish national anthem, we joined the ‘Szkoła do hymnu’ (School for the Anthem) campaign organised by the MEN (Polish Ministry of National Education). It was a joyful and moving occasion. We thank the parents for preparing the children for this day, and Mr Radek Mierzejewski for his technical support!
A reminder that the competition for the most beautifully decorated Christmas jars filled with sweets (so-called Sweet Jars, Candy Jars) runs until this Saturday.
On 16 November, as in previous years, our school will join the British fundraising campaign for disabled children and children in need of support – Children In Need.

We ask all children to come to school in PYJAMAS on 16 November, or, if they prefer, instead of pyjamas they can wear ‘bear ears’, bows or spotty clothes, etc. Please also bring a small amount of money for Children in Need, which we will collect and then send to the charity's account.
The Parents' Committee has also asked us to pass on the following:
‘For technical and organisational reasons, parents who have not yet managed to buy tickets to Santa's grotto for their children are asked to book tickets by email at rodzice.szkola.pl@gmail.com by 22:00 on 14 November and to pay on 16/11/19. Thank you very much for your cooperation and understanding.’
Warm regards
