Dear Parents,
This coming Saturday duty is covered by parents of pupils in classes B2 and E1, and on 21 November by parents of pupils in classes C2 and D2. Please do attend! Please remember that you must cover your mouth and nose when entering the school playgrounds and the school premises during your duty.
Thank you for your understanding! As long as we follow the rules, which are based on the UK government's education guidance and agreed with Purley Oaks, we will be able to continue teaching in person. We hope we will all reach Christmas in good health!
What is coming up in November:
14 November – Independence Day. We ask the children to come to school dressed in white and red, or in Polish regional costume, or to bring items or accessories associated with Poland. Thank you!
21 November – as in previous years, our school will join the British fundraising campaign for disabled children and children in need of support – Children In Need. Its aims are somewhat similar to those of the Polish Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy (Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity). We ask all children to come to school on 21 November in their PYJAMAS or, if they prefer, instead of pyjamas they can wear ‘teddy bear ears’, bows or spotty clothes, etc. More information and inspiration can be found here: https://www.bbcchildreninneed.co.uk/fundraisinghub
We ask the children to bring a small donation for Children in Need on 21 November. We also encourage adults to join in the pyjama day, especially those who will be working on the school premises that day.
Warm regards
Irena Kukuła
