Dear Parents!
This Saturday, parents of pupils in classes C2 and D2 are on duty; on 28 November, parents of pupils in classes C3 and D1. Please do attend! We thank Mr Sebastian Błaszczyk for organising the duty rota, and all parents for your patience and continued support. Thank you for adapting to the restrictions: for social distancing and for wearing masks on the school premises. Whatever our individual views on the matter, we are obliged to follow the rules on the school premises, in line with the regulations of the DfE and of Purley Oaks Primary School that apply to our school. Teachers and assistants working in ‘Bubbles’ are exempt from wearing masks. However, both are encouraged to cover their faces when moving around the school corridors and when working with children where it is not possible to keep a distance of at least 1.5 metres.
This Saturday, 21 November, our school will join the British fundraising campaign for disabled children and children in need of support – Children In Need. We ask that children come to school in PYJAMAS or, if they prefer, instead of pyjamas they may wear ‘teddy bear ears’, bows or spotty clothes, dressing gowns, tracksuits, etc.
We ask that on 21 November children bring a small amount of money for Children in Need. We also encourage adults to join in the pyjama campaign, especially those who will be working on the school premises that day.
