Dear Parents,
we will see you at school on 9 June at 9:00. What lies ahead over the last 5 Saturdays?
9/06 – Summer Day celebrations. We kindly ask children, and parents who are on the school premises, to dress up in costumes or items linked to the first day of summer, e.g. floaty outfits, flower crowns, flowers, clothes in yellow, orange or green, bee or butterfly costumes, etc. In return, we ask you to bring donations such as chocolates, boxes of chocolates, wine, etc., which will be used for the prize raffle at the end of the school year (7 July).
Family Day in the C classes.
10/06, 14:00 – First Holy Communion for a group of pupils from our school.
16/06 – Family Day in the Pre-school and in class D.

23/06 – school trip to Tilgate Park in Crawley. More information to follow shortly. We are still waiting for confirmation of the departure point. Purley Oaks does not have its own car park from which 6 coaches could depart. The car park we departed from last year is now in private hands, and the owners have not yet given us a decision on whether we may use it.
30/06
7/07 – end of the school year, combined with a Family Picnic.
Please RETURN BOOKS TO THE SCHOOL LIBRARY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Under the library rules, every pupil must settle their account with the library before the end of the school year. If a book has been lost, please also get in touch. The ladies who work in the library are often also on duty after lessons, waiting for borrowers.
After-school clubs run until 30/06, unless the leaders of individual clubs have made other arrangements, in which case they will let you know in individual messages.
