School on 2 May and break until 13 June 2026

The school is open on Saturday 2 May 2026, and in return Saturday 6 June is a day off. The last lessons before the half-term break will take place on 16 May, and pupils return to school on 13 June 2026.

Dear Parents,

Please remember that, in order to deliver the required number of lessons, our school is open every year on the Saturday falling around the May Bank Holiday – in 2026 this is 2 May. In return, during the school year we have one Saturday off in December and one in June, as Purley Oaks holds its Christmas Fair and Summer Fair on those days.

In 2026 the Summer Fair at Purley Oaks will take place on 6 June and, in line with the timetable, this will be a Saturday off for us. This means the following dates:

2 May 2026 – school Saturday,
16 May 2026 – last lessons before the half-term break,
6 June 2026 – no lessons (Summer Fair at Purley Oaks),
13 June 2026 – return to school.

Thank you for your understanding. The timetable of all school Saturdays can be found in the School Calendar.

With warm regards

Irena Kukuła
