Dear Parents,

On 30 November the parents of pupils in class C2 and A-level are on duty, and on 7 December the parents of Zerówka and GCSE pupils. Please do attend!

This Saturday, a little hut will appear at our school, and St Nicholas will be paying it a visit! He will sit down before continuing his journey, drink a mug of milk and meet our children. We are counting the days!

On 7 December, our school will hold its Festive Day. Lessons will start and finish as usual, 9:00–12:30. As part of the day, there will be carol singing together or a nativity play in the sports hall.

The event has been divided into three groups:

Group I – 9:05–10:00 – Pre-school, Zerówka, A classes and parents of children in these classes,

Group II – 10:10–11:00 – B, C and D classes and parents of children in these classes,

Group III – 11:10–12:15 – classes E to A-level and parents of children in these classes.

We warmly ask parents who would like to help us to bring cakes on the morning of 7 December, which we could sell at the fair. We would be very, very grateful – thank you!!!!

After each performance, parents are invited to enjoy barszcz (beetroot soup) with a croquette, coffee, tea and cake. After the food, pupils will return to their classrooms with their teacher for the rest of the lessons, and we will ask parents to come back to school to collect their children at 12:30.

On the Festive Day, i.e. 7 December 2019, there will be no after-school clubs at our school.

Finally, I would like to let you know that last Saturday the most beautiful of the Sweet Jars/Candy Jars we received were chosen. The judges, Deputy Headteacher Ms Elżbieta and Ms Jola from the Parents’ Committee, selected the winners. They are: – Amelka – class B2 – Julia – class E2 – Zosia – class C2. The judges had a very difficult choice, as we received 45 beautiful, sweet jars!!! The ladies could not resist and also commended 4 other entries: – Emily – class C2 – Kaya – Zerówka – Melchior – class A2 – Eryk – class C1. St Nicholas will present the prizes to the children next week. Thank you all for taking part in the competition and for making such lovely gifts for the school! You are all winners, because your sweet jars will be bought by someone during the Festive Day and will surely decorate a festive table 🙂 And the money raised will go to the Parents’ Committee fund. Thank you!

With warm regards, Irena Kukuła, Headteacher
