Good morning! We send everyone our post-Easter greetings and invite you to school on Saturday. We look forward to seeing you! The next duties will be covered by the parents of pupils in:

- We would remind you that 29 April is the deadline for enrolling current pupils at the school for the 2022–2023 school year. To reserve a place for your child, please use the link below. It works ONLY for children who are already pupils at the school:
We would not want to leave any of our pupils without a place at the school. However, if no application is made, your child may be left without a reservation. Please remember this. All remaining free places will be offered to applicants from outside the school during the enrolment that begins on 30 April.
- We would remind you about the school fee for the summer term. The payment deadline was 10 April 2022. The fee is: £126 – for the first child £117 – for the second child (two children in total per term: £243) £99 – for the third and each subsequent child (three children in total per term: £342)
Payments can be made to the school’s account:
Frederic Chopin Polish Saturday School Account number: 61176160 Sort code: 30-98-97 LLOYDS BANK
please enter your child’s first name and surname as the payment reference
- To mark Book Day, which our school celebrates on Saturday 30 April, it will be possible to buy books in Polish as part of the ‘Książka szuka przyjaciela’ (A Book Looks for a Friend) campaign. The books will be second-hand and cost £1 each.
We also expect that, instead of Julka, Amelka, Alex and Nathan, characters from fairy tales, stories, poems and children’s books will come to school! Let’s all dress up however we like and however we can!
Let’s show off our costumes, what we are reading and which hero we especially like. Let’s tell others about it
Remember that our 10×10 challenge for the school’s 10th anniversary is still under way. In April, we aim to walk or run 10 km. We want to add up all the runs and walks (including shorter ones, if a child does not manage to cover 10 km in the month) and reach a total of 1579 km. That is the distance from our school to the Polish border. If any child would like to join the challenge, please send their class teacher the number of kilometres covered at the end of April. You can also send photos of the challenge.
And finally, a message mainly for the parents of boys in classes E, F, G and JPJO.
With warm regards
Irena Kukuła Headteacher
