Dear Parents,
A week ago we finished Term 2. It was a difficult time of remote and in-person learning. Thank you for every kindness and every word of support. We would also like to thank the parents who were on duty at school over the last two Saturdays.
If government pandemic regulations do not change, extra-curricular activities will start after Easter. The people running them will certainly let you know; if you have any questions, you can contact them directly:

On 24 April we celebrate Book Day at school. To mark the occasion, our librarians are announcing a competition – in the following classes:
Pre-school, Zerówka, A, B, C – drawing the cover of a favourite book
D, E, F, G, H, GCSE, A-level – a comic of their own invention
Entries should be brought to school on 24 April. The prizes are:
1st place – £30 2nd place – £20 3rd place – £10
We also ask that on this day children come to school dressed up as book characters of their choice.
Internal enrolment of our current pupils for the 2021–2022 school year is under way. You can enrol your child/children (including siblings whom you would like to enrol in Pre-school) at: https://polskaszkolacroydon.co.uk/deklaracja/ by 1 May 2021. If no declaration is received by then, this means you are giving up your child's place for the new school year. The school has the right to offer the place to pupils from outside. If you have any questions, please contact the school administrator or the Headteacher.
Enrolment for new pupils will begin on 15 May 2021.

In addition, Fr Martin McCarthy, parish priest of St. Gertrude in South Croydon, invites you to the Easter food blessing (święconka) on Holy Saturday at 12:00.
A reminder that payment for the summer term, which begins on 24 April, should be made by 15/04/2021 and is:
– £108 for the first child
– £90 for the second child (£198 in total for two children per term)
– £81 for the third and each subsequent child (£279 in total for three children per term)
