Dear Parents,
On 1 May, parents of pupils in class G and Zerówka are on duty; on 8 May, parents of pupils in class F1 and A-level.
Since our return to school there have been a few changes. Ms Elżbieta Siółkowska has stepped down as a teacher, but she remains on the School Board and is not cutting ties with the school completely. So there will certainly be opportunities to meet, and we will formally thank Ms Ela for her work at the end of the school year
Ms Bogusia Drwal – Zielińska has taken over as class teacher of class D2. Until now she has worked at the school as a teaching assistant. In her day job she works at a British nursery. She loves working with children and enjoys learning new things. She is a mother of two.
Ms Agnieszka Dewberry has taken up the post of Deputy Headteacher. She is mum to Tomek and Mia. She is a graduate in Education from the University of Warsaw and from the UCL Institute of Education, and a doctoral student at PUNO. She works as Head of EFL Department and a Year 5 form teacher at an independent school in West Sussex. She loves theatre, cooking and watercolours and, occasionally, running.
Thank you, Ms Bogusia and Ms Agnieszka. ‘Perhaps it really isn't us who choose our journeys, but they who choose us?’ said Martyna Wojciechowska. I am delighted that you have agreed to take on new challenges. May they bring you joy and success, and help you get to know yourselves even better!
From 1 May, the following start at the school: – Krav Maga self-defence training – led by Ms Izabela Budner. A few places have become available in the group; children aged 5/6 and over are warmly invited.
