Dear Parents,

A lot happened at our school last Saturday. We celebrated the anniversary of Poland regaining its independence, joined in the Children in Need appeal and acquired new bookcases for the library!! Thank you, Mr Sebastian, for making us such beautiful furniture! We are hugely impressed! The children who came to the library were also left speechless. 😉

We are still looking for someone who could also build us a shed measuring 1m x 1m x 2m. The school will reimburse the cost of materials. Why do we need a shed? Mr Adam will give more information to whoever takes it on, on 07799063287. Please help!

At the end of last school year, the children received their Polish diaspora pupil ID cards. Parents who have not yet collected this document are asked to contact the School Administrator in the staff room.

Ms Elżbieta Siółkowska is taking enrolments for after-school handicraft classes for pupils aged 10 and over. Contact: psscroydon.siolkowska@gmail.com

We would remind you that every Saturday you can buy cakes, doughnuts and bread in the school café (the sports hall by the main school entrance). Do come along! All proceeds from the café go towards the needs of our pupils.

Please also remember that until 18 November 2017 we are collecting a contribution of £4 per child for the St Nicholas' Day present. The contribution will be collected by the ladies working in the school library (staff room). You can also hand the money in via the class teachers. The contribution is not compulsory, but if it is not paid by the above date, your child will not receive a present at the meeting with St Nicholas. We would very much like to avoid this. If you are experiencing financial difficulties, please contact the Headteacher.

This Saturday, 18 November, the parents of pupils in class B2 are on duty, and on 25 November the parents of pupils in class A1.

Warm regards,

Irena Kukuła Headteacher
