This very Saturday! A Book Seeks a Friend, that is:
A drive to find friends for your books, read long ago and perhaps no longer wanted and packed away in a box. Bring them to us! We will sell every book for £1. Perhaps, among the books on our stall, you will find something new for yourself? We accept books for children, young people and adults – in Polish only. The book sale will take place on 13 May from 8:45. The proceeds from the books sold will go towards paper for printing certificates.
On Sunday 14 May, a group of our pupils will fly to Warsaw for the final of the Polonia Educational Board Game Tournament ‘Miś Wojtek’ (Wojtek the Bear), organised by Instytut Pamięci Narodowej (the Institute of National Remembrance) and Fundacja Polonica (the Polonica Foundation).
40 three-person teams qualified, including teams from Australia, Belgium, the Netherlands, Iceland, Qatar and Egypt. Our pupils are among the best. We are keeping our fingers crossed, wish them a fantastic time and look forward to hearing all about it!
May and June are traditionally Family Days at our school. Below you will find the schedule of meetings. Class teachers will give you more information in class.
