Dear Parents,

Thank you for all the forms you have submitted and for the trust you place in us! Thank you also for all your kind words about the school and for recommending our school to your family and friends.

This coming Saturday, Krav Maga classes for young people and adults will begin at our school. We are delighted that this will provide continuity with the classes that Ms Izabela Budner runs for the younger children.

Krav Maga for older participants will take place in two groups

11:40 – adults

12:40 – young people aged 12 and over.

We warmly encourage parents and older pupils to take part in the training sessions! The classes will not only teach you how to behave in a dangerous situation, a terrorist attack or other emergencies, but will also teach you how to anticipate and avoid threats, keep your presence of mind and act under stress.

As I mentioned, the first session will take place this coming Saturday:

Adults – at 11:40

Young people – at 12:40

in the gym (dining hall), and will last one hour. Participants should wear comfortable clothing (tracksuit bottoms, a T-shirt + water). The first Saturday session will be FREE. Subsequent sessions are available under the following options of your choice:

£9 per Saturday, if training only at the school,

£45 for the whole month, BKMA membership; if you miss a session at school, you can use an additional 2 days a week to train elsewhere, grading,

£59 for the whole month, BKMA membership, up to three sessions a week, trading

Family discounts are available: two people from the same address can train for £59 a month. More information is available on the instructor's website https://kravmagacroydon.com/what-is-krav- maga/ or during the session on Saturday. Mr Artur Kieniksman will arrive early on Saturday and will answer all your questions.

I am also passing on information about football sessions that I have received from the coaches:

Pride Football Academy invites children aged 4–14 to football training.

Professional training and a wonderful atmosphere. We support children's development in a true sporting spirit.

We take part in and organise football tournaments, league and friendly matches, and sports camps.

We work with the Polish School to promote sport and physical activity together, something increasingly lacking these days.
