Dear All,

On 10 December the parents of pupils in classes D2 and E2 are on duty. Please do attend.

It will be the last school Saturday this term. And a festive one too!

You are warmly invited to the gatherings, which have been divided into three groups:

Group I – Theatre Hall, 9:05 – Pre-school, Zerówka, classes A, B, C (6 classes in total) and parents with children in these classes. After the performance, children with their parents and class teachers will go to the Sports Hall for refreshments. This will finish at around 10:15. The children will then return with their class teachers to their classrooms, and we will ask parents to leave the school so that we can prepare the hall for the next group.

Group II – Theatre Hall, 10:10 – classes D, E, F (5 classes in total) and parents with children in these classes. After the performance, children with their parents and class teachers will go to the Sports Hall for refreshments. This will finish at around 11:25. The children will then return with their class teachers to their classrooms, and we will ask parents to leave the school so that we can prepare the hall for the next group.

Group III – Theatre Hall, 11:10 – classes JPJO G, GCSE, A-level (5 classes in total) and parents with children in these classes. After the performance, children with their parents and class teachers will go to the Sports Hall for refreshments. This will finish at around 12:25. Then, at 12:30, all pupils go home.

We would be extremely grateful if you could support us with home baking that we could sell at the Christmas fair. Please just remember that we are a ‘nut-free’ school. The proceeds raised by the Parents' Committee will be spent on our pupils' needs. Last week these proceeds funded a visit from Santa. The children had a wonderful time meeting him in Santa's grotto, receiving a present and spending time together in the beautifully decorated Theatre Hall. We thank all the parents who were involved, especially our ‘Committee’ members, who led the whole event 😊

And finally, a message from Ms Monika Nowicka of the London team of WOŚP (Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity):

‘Dear teachers, parents and children. This year we will be playing for the thirty-first time. To mark the occasion, we would like to invite you to an even more special concert than usual, “Dzieci dzieciom” (Children for Children). It is a beautiful day that fills our hearts with positive energy for the whole year. On 29 January 2023 the biggest event for children in London will take place. Look for us at Mamuśka! Polish Kitchen and Bar. London SE1 7RY. We are looking for soloists, class groups and children who want to show their musical talent. If you think you belong to this group, you are warmly invited. We look forward to your entries, starting today. Outstanding performances are WOŚP's trademark. It is worth putting the date of the 31st WOŚP Grand Finale in your calendar now, so that you can play together with the London Team of Akademia Polskiej Literki #7001. This time our motto will be: We want to beat sepsis – we're playing for everyone, young and old. For the FIRST time the Orchestra will play for everyone, and we hope that, as usual, London will join in the Summer Frenzy in the Middle of Winter. There will be music, colour, dancing and delicious food! We will share details of the programme closer to the Finale, but we warmly invite you already. WE PLAY TILL THE END OF THE WORLD AND ONE DAY LONGER. Cheers, London Team’
