Dear Parents, we have just 5 Saturdays left. Below you will find the duty rota:
10 June – F + GCSE1 (Ms Ola's class)
17 June – C + GCSE2 (Ms Iza's class) – Summer Day/GCSE2 end of the school year/First Holy Communion
24 June – G + E1
1 July – D2 + E2
8 July – B2 – end of the school year – BBQ. Children remain in their parents' care.
From 17 June (Summer Day) we will be accepting the following for the prize raffle:
*new/unused games or soft toys *cosmetics
*chocolates
- vouchers (perhaps someone running their own business would like to gain customers this way? Beauticians? Hairdressers? etc.)
*Wine/beer
All donations will be received by the Parents' Committee – in the morning on the school playground, where bread is sold, and during the day in the school café. Please give your support!
For almost a month, a group of six – teachers, teaching assistants and parents – has been training to take part in a half marathon. Only two of the ladies have any running experience; the rest are complete beginners. We want to show our pupils that it is possible to achieve a goal starting from zero. Consistency, determination and the joy of working towards a goal together unite both us in our running and our pupils in acquiring language skills. Keep your fingers crossed for us and cheer us on, just as we cheer on your children! You can follow our progress on the school's pages.
