Dear Parents,
The last duty before the half-term break falls to parents of pupils in classes B2 and D2, and on 29 February to parents of pupils in classes B3 and D1. Thank you to all parents for helping to keep the children safe at school!
We are looking for parents to work with our school as volunteers (combined with adventure, learning new skills and making friends)
We need two people who would like to work with the Parents' Committee and one person to work in the school library. If you are interested, please get in touch at rodzice.szkola.pl@gmail.com or speak to the Headteacher directly at school.
We would also like to remind you that a neuro-speech therapist, Ms Anna Jamrozik, works at the school. We warmly encourage you to take advantage of Ms Anna's help. Below you will find information about appointments:
Dear Parents
If anything worries you about your child's speech development or behaviour, do not delay. I invite you to speech therapy consultations at our school.
You should see a speech therapist if your child:
pushes their tongue between their teeth when speaking,
has a whistling speech that is unpleasant to the ear,
replaces voiced sounds with their voiceless counterparts – voiceless speech,
pronounces the sound [r] incorrectly,
says [t,d] instead of [k,g],
is five years old and replaces the sounds [sz, ż, cz,dż] with [s, z, c, dz] or [ś, ź, ć, dź],
leaves out sounds or parts of words, or speaks unintelligibly or unclearly,
has difficulty inflecting words correctly – the grammatical side of speech.
Remember! It is better to see a specialist and hear that everything is normal than to ignore a problem and so expose your child to difficulties later on.
Speech therapy is organised in groups or individually, depending on the type of disorder, your decision and your child's level of concentration (group therapy does not suit everyone) J
Payments are made by bank transfer. If you would like your children to start speech therapy, please let me know by e-mail (address below).
Kind regards, Neuro-speech therapist Anna Jamrozik

Warm regards from me too
