Dear Parents,

I have quite a lot of news for you

  1. On Saturday 4 December, parents of class F2 pupils are on duty; on 11 December, parents of Zerówka and GCSE class pupils. We would be very grateful if some of you who are on duty on 11 December could swap and come a week earlier to help the class F2 parents on 4 December. We have too few classes to have parents from two classes every Saturday. So it sometimes happens that – if not everyone turns up for duty and lets us know in advance – we are short of people to keep the children safe at school.

  2. This Saturday is Christmas Jumper Day. We encourage children, if they wish and are able, to wear Christmas jumpers, hats and any other accessories in the festive spirit. St Nicholas is also on his way to our school to give the children presents. There will be surprises and a chocolate fountain. So it's worth children bringing a little money with them to buy hot chocolate if they would like to.

  3. Thank you to Ms Jadwiga Sz. for donating a coffee machine to the staff room. The coffee is going down a treat

  4. We are looking for volunteers (though with certain benefits) – Teaching assistants, – A librarian,

The Parents' Committee is also looking for parents willing to help. If you can see yourself in any of these roles, please get in touch!

  2. Through the Parents' Committee (danielzycki76@gmail.com) we are taking orders for bread and everything else on the Oława Bakery website. In your order, please give your full name, the product and the quantity. You can also place orders in person every Saturday (we will be in the square in front of the school or in the Theatre Hall). Collection is on Saturday at the same place. All available products, with photos and prices, can be seen directly on the bakery's website: www.olawabacerylondon.co.uk/shop You can also read about the bakery itself there. Please disregard the minimum order (£20) and the delivery charge (£3). These apply when goods are ordered directly on the website.

  3. The Wisła Kraków UK Academy, with which our school works, informs parents of the youngest pupils (aged 3–6) that from 4 December sessions will be held in the sports hall at Harris Academy at 13:30. We warmly encourage you to take part!

  4. On 11 December, on the large playground, as part of the Christmas Fair, you will be able to buy Christmas table decorations, Christmas tree ornaments and Christmas cards.
