Dear Parents,

On 4 May, parents of pupils in classes A1 and D2 are on duty; on 11 May, parents of pupils in classes A2 and D1. We kindly ask you to attend!

At our recent Book Day we raised £150.37 to support the school library. Thank you so much for every donation to this cause!

This Saturday, 4 May, we will welcome the actor Robert Moskwa to the school!

Robert Moskwa – In 1991 he graduated in acting from the PWST (State Higher School of Theatre) in Wrocław. Before that, he studied Polish philology for three years at the University of Szczecin. He is co-founder and director of Teatr K2 in Wrocław. He has performed in France, acting with the Terre de Scene Int. theatre. He is also known for the films Kroll, Zycie jak poker and M jak miłość. He has trained in karate since the age of seventeen and holds a black belt from the Shotokan and Fudokan Karate Federation.

All parents and pupils are warmly invited to meet Mr Robert Moskwa after lessons, at 12:40. Guests from outside the school who would like to attend are also welcome. In Poland, Mr Robert helps so-called ‘frankowicze’, i.e. people with loans in Swiss francs. Anyone who needs it will be able to talk about the specifics of ‘de-franking’, have their agreement analysed free of charge, calculate the amount that can be recovered for overpayments in recent years, etc.

Before that, the actor will meet the young people during a rehearsal of ‘Dziady’ (Forefathers' Eve), and at the meeting with the children he will talk about working in the theatre and on a film set – and perhaps demonstrate his acting craft in a mini performance? Do join us!

4 May is also the deadline for internal enrolment applications for the 2019-2020 school year.

With warm regards

Irena Kukuła Headteacher
