Dear Parents,

This Saturday the parents of pupils in the A classes and E1 are on duty; on 4 March, the parents of pupils in classes G and A-level. Please do attend.

A few pieces of news for this week:

  1. Following the meeting with the children’s author Mr Wojciech Filaber, we announced a competition for the children. The task is to create a picture of an animal (any technique: crayons, paint, collage) that took part in the fighting during the Second World War. Class teachers will be collecting the drawings this Saturday.

  2. The 5th Talent Festival is coming soon. For the stage set, we need coloured-in Chopins – they must be VERY COLOURFUL, EVEN UNREALISTICALLY COLOURFUL. Class teachers will attach the ‘little Chopins’ to their e-mails to you. If the children could colour them in and bring them in this Saturday, that would be wonderful!!!

  3. I am also delighted to tell you that we have found sponsors who will help us buy prizes for the children for the Talent Festival. We will tell you more about the sponsors in next week’s message. So far we have:

– B4W Solution Ltd – £100

– Polish Tax House Ltd – £120

– SW Permanent Make Up – £100

-BOB’S YOUR UNCLE COFEE – £100

– Mr Adam Bukojemski – has offered three free individual chess lessons for two children. To keep it fair, this prize will be allocated by a draw.

But that is not all! Ms Ania Wlasniak – Jump with Ann – would also like to support us. This Saturday, 25 February, at around 9:10 in the Theatre Hall, Ms Ania will lead a full-body workout for parents, after which you will be bursting with energy all day! Entry is £2, or more if you would like to support us with a donation of any amount (a ‘cegiełka’). You are warmly invited!!!! Please just bring some water and wear sports clothes.

With warm regards

Irena Kukuła, Headteacher
