Until this Saturday we are signing children up for the trip to Tilgate Park in Crawley. The trip will take place on 23 June. Cost of the trip: school pupils £8, everyone else £10.
Following frequent questions about the fee increase for the 2018/2019 school year, we can confirm that it will be £2 per Saturday. This is the minimum increase the school must make, given the cost of hiring the building alone, which currently stands at £16000 per term. The school is constantly looking for sponsors to keep the financial burden on parents as low as possible.
We would also remind parents of their obligation to complete three duties per school year. Last week, six parents from two classes turned up for duty! If, in similar situations, we cannot find parents to stand in by 9:00, we reserve the right to cancel lessons, as we are unable to keep the children safe and comply with Health&Safety regulations.
This week the parents of pupils in classes E1 and E2 are on duty; on 5 May the parents of pupils in classes D and C1.
