Dear parents,

We are looking for English-speaking children learning Polish to take part in our research study. We are especially keen to hear from families in which one parent is an English speaker.

The study comprises of three short meetings with the child; all meetings will be held on Saturdays. During the meetings children will listen to sentences, look at pictures and talk about what they understand. Children aged 8+ are eligible.

The study is not a test and will not affect children’s grades; it is voluntary and results will be anonymised before publication.

Participation is highly encouraged. Ms Marciszewska will be available on Saturday 28th January at 8.30-9am to meet and greet you.

I would just like to remind you that this Saturday the parents of pupils in classes G+D2 are on duty, and on 4 February the parents of pupils in classes F + A1
