Dear Parents!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended the Parents' Meeting on 3 February. Thank you for every comment and suggestion, and for supporting our plans.
This Saturday we begin the second half of Term 2. We meet on the following Saturdays: 24 February; 3 March – School Patron's Day – Talent Festival; 10 March – a theatre performance by the ‘Trip’ theatre from Poland; 17 March – class H trip to meet the director Krzysztof Zanussi at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in London; 24 March – Book Day
We warmly welcome back Ms Ewelina Zjawiony, who is returning to work after maternity leave As a result, catechesis will begin in Term 2 in classes Z1, Z3, A1, A2, B1.
We remind parents of pupils taking part in the Talent Festival that we need the music the children would like to perform to by this Saturday (24/02). The final rehearsal will take place on that day. The music can be sent by e-mail to iwonachrzan@polskaszkolacroydon.com, or brought in on Saturday on CD, USB stick, hard drive, etc.
We warmly recommend this year's edition of the Polish Film Festival in London, ‘Kinoteka’ 2018. The festival is organised by the Polish Cultural Institute. This year the screenings will take place from 7 to 29 March 2018.
A number of extremely interesting screenings are open not only to Polish but also to international audiences. It could therefore be a fantastic opportunity to introduce British and international friends to outstanding works of Polish cinema.
