And finally, an important message from Mr Piotr Kośla about the Gamers' Club:

‘Dear Parents,

In the new school year we warmly invite all games enthusiasts to sessions at the Gamers' Club. Sessions, held in an atmosphere of fun, learning and healthy competition, take place every Saturday from 12:40–13:45.

Those interested in competing and in making international contacts with Polish peers from around the world are encouraged to represent our school in the IPN (Institute of National Remembrance) Wojtek the Bear Historical Board Games Tournament for Polish communities abroad.

The prize for teams that get through the regional rounds is a trip to the final Tournament in Warsaw. The stay of several days, combined with sightseeing in the capital and many other interesting events, is paid for in full by the organisers. Parents incur no costs.

Everyone interested is invited this Saturday, 16 September. I will be waiting for you on the large playground in front of the school building at 12:35.

More information about how the Club works and details of the Tournament can be obtained by calling me on 07904932076.

Yours respectfully,

Piotr Kośla’

I join Mr Piotr in this invitation. With warm regards,

Irena Kukuła Headteacher
