Dear Parents,
This coming Saturday duty is covered by parents of pupils in B1 and B2; on 22 May by parents of pupils in C1 and C2. Please do attend!
On 8 May, from two classes, just 6 parents turned up(!!!) + 3 who came to make up for a duty missed on another date. We did not receive a single notification that anyone was unable to do their duty. In total we had 9 people to look after the children. We should have closed the school and asked you to collect your children. By working together we managed to keep the children safe, but everyone at the school has their own responsibilities, and it is difficult to move teachers, assistants or librarians onto duty. I ask you to act responsibly. Should this happen again, we will be forced to cancel lessons.
Saturday was Librarians' Day. Thank you to Ms Kasia and Ms Basia for their work in our library. The weekly Saturday trips to borrow books are an important point on the map of school activities 😊 Thanks to you, our pupils get to know literature in Polish and take part in competitions. Reading makes life more beautiful and multi-dimensional. Thank you for your contribution to this!
In September 2021 we plan to open a class in Polish as a foreign/second language for teenagers (aged 12–14). We are therefore looking for a teacher for this post.
