This school year, for the first time after a two-year break, the School will hold a BBQ to mark the end of the school year. Would any of you like to help us? Even just this once
Then again, perhaps someone will enjoy it and want to work with us for longer? The main burden of the preparations rests on the shoulders of the Parents' Committee. We want to help these parents, who volunteer for our children all year round, as best we can. Helping really can be a joy! Would anyone like to find out? Please get in touch, ideally with Ms Bogusia or Mr Daniel – every Saturday in the theatre hall or during the bread sale in the school playground.
We invite parents, especially those returning to Poland permanently with their children, to a meeting with Ms Małgorzata Reroń, a psychotherapist. On 2 May (Thursday) at 19:00, Polska Macierz Szkolna (the Polish Educational Society) is organising an online meeting at which Ms Małgorzata will talk about how children and young people adapt after returning to Poland, the stress and trauma that may accompany this, and the Polish school system.
