Dear Parents,

Last Sunday a group of pupils from our school received their First Holy Communion. We thank everyone who helped to make this day so special.

  1. The priests – Fr Martin McCarthy, Fr Jerzy Mikrut and Fr Michał Oszczudłowski,

  2. The musicians – Karolina Wojtyra, and Basia and Piotr Tuleja,

  3. The florist – into whom Ms Ela Siółkowska was magically transformed

  4. The PARENTS – who worked tremendously hard to make the ceremony special!!

Making it all so beautiful took a great deal, and many people worked hard for it. Thank you!

This Saturday (10/06) we will celebrate the First Day of Summer at school. We kindly ask children, and parents who are on the school premises, to dress up in costumes or items linked to summer. In return, we ask you to bring donations such as chocolates, boxes of chocolates, wine, etc., which will be used for the prize raffle at the end of the school year (8 July).

Please RETURN BOOKS TO THE SCHOOL LIBRARY. Under the library rules, every pupil must settle their account with the library before the end of the school year.

On 10 June the parents of Pre-school 1 + Class E are on duty; on 17 June, the parents of pupils in classes B1 + D1.

Warm regards,

Dear Parents,

This Sunday, 4 June, at 14:00, a group of children from our school will receive their First Holy Communion. We invite everyone to take part in this important occasion. The address and a map with directions can be found here.

On 10 June we will begin the first of the last five sessions of this school year.

On Saturday 10 June we will celebrate the First Day of Summer at school. We kindly ask children, and parents who are on the school premises, to dress up in costumes or items linked to the first day of summer, e.g. floaty outfits, flower crowns, flowers, clothes in yellow, orange, green or other bright colours, ladybird or beetle costumes, etc. In return, we ask you to bring donations such as chocolates, boxes of chocolates, wine, etc., which will be used for the prize raffle at the end of the school year (8 July).

On 17 June at 15:00 a group of our oldest pupils will meet an exceptional person, Ms Elżbieta Piekarska. Ms Elżbieta is a former noblewoman who lived in the Wilno (Vilnius) region and during the war was deported to Kazakhstan and Siberia. She followed General Anders' campaign trail and knew him personally. She worked as a Red Cross nurse and, after the fighting at Monte Cassino had ended, found herself in England. She is still full of vigour and joy, and will meet class G during a special history lesson.

On 24 June we are going on a trip to Mote Park. We are still waiting for an answer regarding the departure point, as we need to hire a car park suitable for 6 coaches. I hope to be able to give you all the relevant information at the beginning of next week.

8 July – end of the school year.

Alongside this very busy schedule we also have our Family Days. The timetable of gatherings has already been sent to you; please read it. We hope that the time spent with the children in the classrooms will be a time of joy and togetherness for everyone.

We also ask you to RETURN BOOKS TO THE SCHOOL LIBRARY. Under the library rules, every pupil must settle their account with the library before the end of the school year. If a book has been lost, please also get in touch.

On 10 June the parents of Pre-school 1 + Class E are on duty; on 17 June, the parents of pupils in classes B1 + D1.

Warm regards,
